Billing of the deal

Can somebody from Russels please explain to us, how they do their quotes and billing? On two occasions now we were informed that paying off the amount on the lounge suite which is R6000, will be deemed as cash. Upon doing the contract, the saleslady asked me for how many months do I want the contract. I stated that I want a 6 month contract. She informed me that I will have to pay R2047 per month.!! That gives you R12282! Upon asking her how does she get to that, she answered that it contains delivery, handling and surcharges and the heck knows what else, exept interest. Now who on earth will buy something that he will pay 100% more when on contract, whereupon he can borrow the full amount from cash loans for cheaper interest?!
