1. Poor response times to emergencies - half an hr or more!
2. Don't care attitude when answering for emergencies - operator too busy chewing gum or chatting. Have to wait for them to finish chewing/chatting to speak to you
3. Ignore instructions eg plse don't jump over the wall - ignored over and over again
4. Arrive on site at night for an emergency without torches. Happened more than once
5. Supervisor on duty never returns calls. This is a pattern, not just a once off incident
6. I have emailed a contract termination - still waiting for a response - 3 weeks later
7. Emailed a request for installers code. No response. Taken 4 days of constant phoning, only on day 4 was I told a technician would have to come out to aquire this from my keypad. The technician could tell me what it was without the keypad, so why could ADT not convey this information on the phone? This smacks of deceit or just a bad understanding of technicalities?
8. ADT is too big to care, too expensive for non-existent service, a nightmare to solve problems with, or extract information from. Probably 8 out of 10 calls are simply cut-off, and no-one really seems to know how to help you or who to connect you with.
