I receive a call to advise that my alarm at my house has been activated, as I am not at home I advise the call centre to dispatch armed response. I then get into my own vehicle, travel in peak hour traffic to my house to find the house luckily secure however no armed response. My wife accidentally triggered the alarm and was at the house to confirm no armed response had arrived. I contacted the call centre to advise that it had taken me in peak hour traffic 20 minutes to get to my house before their vehicle, they proceeded to put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I decided to go to the store and purchase some items, upon arriving home I found that the unit had finally reached their destination. To my complaint of timing I was told " it's unfortunate". So 3 years of R500 a month buys me response that arrives after me and that includes a shopping trip. PS. The supervisor who I spoke with at the call centre advised he would call me right back (4 hours ago).
