I am a new client to ADT. My system was installed and i paid upfront for it. I noticed that whenever my alarm goes off that no one calls and no armed response comes out. When i called to enquire i was told that they dont receive a signal and will send the technician to come sort it out. When Johannes came i was not home but had arranged for someone to be there to let him in. He told the lady that the radio was never connected when they installed and he had now rectified it. He asked her just to sign as proof that he had attended to the matter. Now i am being charged R505.02 for a service call and a new passive. I never even got a new passive. When i checked the copy of the invoice with the lady who signed it she pointed out that she had only signed one place and the other signiture is different and it looks like her signiture was forged. She had pulled a line through the amount area yet Johannes still inserted the amounts underneath it. ADT has staff who forges clients signitures inorder to charge them for services never rendered. I will not pay the amount. I will however go to their offices to collect the original to take this matter to court.
