Ridiculous markups

Hi,
ADT is a company that rips off the consumer with price markups. They had to replace a battery in my alarm today. They charged me R400 call out fee and then wanted to charge me R320 for the battery. The same battery retails for about R160 in the first retail shop I found. That is a 100% markup on the retail price (probably about 150%). I have no problem with a company marking up a product within reason, but that is blatant over and above the R400 call out fee.
