Appalling service - exorbitant prices!

This past week ADT has shown why they are known to deliver extremely terrible service. All I needed to do is get "technical" advice on how to reprogram my alarm remote to my system after I had to replace the batteries. When I called ADT the l "technical" call center said that cannot give me the details and an agent will need to come out to the house. For programming a remote! This is a call out Fee of R480 (odd) to something that can be explained over the phone.
I reluctantly agree, then make an appointment for 8:30am the morning (they only work 8:30am - 4pm week days). (Noting that I need the person not to be late as I have meeting to attend). I get told someone will call me an hour before they arrive on the monring.
8:45 and I had to call ADT and ask why I have not received a call. Then the agent said, sorry you must just wait as the agent will get there in 20 min time! - This for a remote programming sequence!
So at this stage ADT is wasting my time and I have to pay them over R400 for their staff's tardiness. When I asked, no management is available! (at 8:50am)
I expect some response from ADT and will also warn anyone trying to get any type of service out of this company
