Half an hour response to alarm!!!

On Sunday morning @ 8:36 I received a call from ADT notifying me that my alarm had gone off. My wife answered the phone and told the agent that we were not at home at that point in time and requested that a security officer be sent to our home in Tygerdal. I dropped my wife at her destination and returned home @ 8:52 to find that no officer had been sent. I immediately called the adt callcentre and was informed that an officer had been sent. Adt security officer Jeremy Jantjies arrived at my home at 9:08. On his arrival I asked him when he had been notified to come to my address and he responded that he had only received call 5 minutes before he pitched up i.e. @ 9:03.

He had only been notified after I requested a security officer a second time!!!

This is highly unacceptable. This failure of action could have been dangerous. I would like an explanation as to why an officer was sent the first time and I would like to know wot actions will be taken to ensure it does not happen again
