Dispatching guard to wrong address

We got notification that our house alarm was going off. I had to call back 45 minutes later only to find out that the guard was dispatched to the wrong address. How does this happen? What would have happened in a real emergency? To try and get through to the right person telephonically is such a mission and this kind of service, in the dangerous country we live in, is totally unacceptable.
