ADT not always there for me

I spent R12000 installing beams to my house, thinking I am enhancing my security. This was around mid November 2013. A day after the installation, the alarm went off on a regular basis at night and had to take the risk and switch it off. In the morning I then reported it to ADT. The response was great and the problem was sorted out the same day. However that was the beginning of my frustration. On the same day that the technician worked on the system, I discovered that the remote could not deactivate the alarm, but can only arm it. Which meant that once I have left the house and activated the alarm, I could not deactivate and gain acces to the house without triggering the alarm. On reporting this, I was told I was going to be charged a call out fee, which I refused to accept. I was then told someone will call me. Every time I phone I was told over and over that I will be called. It is now 3weeks and no response, even to an email I sent to them. I am frustrated and looking for a new security company. I have had good service but that good service has turned into a nightmare. ADT claims to be there for their customers, a claim that they themselves have proved to be a lie
