Tracker Damaged my Vehicle during installation

I recently purchased a BMW and it was a requirement to have a tracker installed on my car by my insurance. I chose the tracker route and already regretting it. Arrangement was made to have the tracker installed on the car at the dealership prior me taking delivery of the car. during the first 2 weeks of owning the car there was a strong petrol smell from within the back seat and the boot of the car. It was found that when they installed the tracker they damaged the fuel filler neck and a plastic cover. Damage cost R3898 to repair and is not covererd by my waranty!!! Surely the technician should have noticed his mistake. What kind of people do you employ to work on customers vehicles. This is highly unacceptable and tracker should be liable for the damage!!!
