I started renting on the 01st August - my lease is for year. I was introduced to Top Security who offered me the following - 3 month free security and a month to month contract for R300.00 - very resonable - they now tell me that i must start paying after 2 months and i have a 24 month contract and if i want to cancel i must pay R5300.00 odd. why would i sign a contract for 24 month when my lease is for 12 months??

I got hold of Gavin on Friday afternoon 8th Nov - he said he would come back to me first thing monday Morning - 18th - nothing so this morning I phoned him - he tells me that the 1 month will be credited and when i asked about the 24 contract he he did not answer instead turned it on me and asked if there is some reason i do not want to deal with Top Security - you mean besides the fact that I feel i have been conned and that they do not respond to alarms at 04h00 on a Sunday morning. Before this fiasco i was actually very happy with them - now if feel they are not trustworthy - this is not the feeling you want about your security company
