This must be the worst company to deal with in SA

After moving into our new house, the prev owner said he used ADT and as they where in the area, we signed with them. Due to the high crime in our area, our community watch have enlisted a more proactive security company for our area. I called ADT and asked them how I go about cancelling and all they needed is 30 days which I gave them. Later, I get a rude letter saying I cannot cancel as I am in contract for 24 months. I have disputed this on the same email and made numerous phone calls to them as a 24 month contract was not agreed on and neither did I sign or agree to the 24 months on the agreement. Please note that all the equipment in the property does NOT belong to ADT and is owned entirely by us! I have challenged them to send the salesman back to our premises which has not happened in 2 months and phone calls are useless and emails are not returned. I have even stopped my debit orders with them because after reading all the ADT complaints I somehow knew there was going to be trouble with this unproffesional company. They keep saying they will pull a copy of the agreement and Im saying please do so we can all see I did not sign a 24 month contract and thats where it ends.
