I'm not a customer of ADT's but I've been receiving smses saying my account is in arrears for months because they have the wrong number. This is particularly bad in the case of ADT as that number may be the one they're supposed to call in case of an emergency.

I spent ages on the phone speaking to one person after another trying to get them to send the annoying messages and finally got hold of someone who said they'd correct the error, yet I'm still receiving the messages. A little under two weeks ago I emailed ADT to explain the problem and still have heard back.

Today I received an sms saying the account had been suspended for non-payment. The incompetence, bad service and the complete lack of interest in trying to remedy the situation are appalling.
