I took out a contract 2 yrs ago and I am one of those clients that always pays on time. When ADT offered clients to pay at leading supermarkets, I made a payment at Checkers on the 10th of December 2012. To date I am waiting for a credit to my account despite sending proof of payments like 20 times and for the past 10 months. Dealt with numerous staff and the call centre to many to mention with no positive outcome.(Dealt with Patrick Chinambu who since left the department and referred and handed matter to a lady called Hilda Khoza and I am back to square one.
No one bothers to call you back or respond and to make matters worse my wife now receives calls for this missing payment. I have all the necessary proof of payments and emails and this is not acceptable. Despite leaving messages for someone senior to call no one does.(including Timira Naidoo)
Secondly when I first took out the contract I was advised by the sales rep in my area that ADT is running a promotion whereby if you take out a contract the system is free and after 24 months. Now I am told it is a rented system and need to pay to switch to another provider. This is a rip off. Totally frustrated and a misled client.
