My mother and I are both subscribers to ADT on separate properties and separate payments. My mother is no longer an ADT customer as they could not even get it right to move her alarm system from the Granny flat which she occupied at the time to the main house where she was moving back to. She cancelled and I cancelled on her behalf, it took ADT to respond and to come and finally de-install their own equipment, all this time they have been billing my mother for an alarms system that had not been switched on for a whole year. They then said they will reimburse her premiums for some of the months but I cannot get it out of them till now officially which months... by the way my mother is a pensioner... After this shabby treatment I decided to cancel my subscription with ADT and sent them an email and asked for confirmation of receipt (As I now know that their email system is either broken or disregarded) and guess what no response, I copied a known staff member and two other email addresses in my follow up emails (Two so far) and guess what? No response or acknowledgement from ADT... I am so frustrated with this company right now... I will not phone them, cause that is useless as well...
