They found my system not working and I have to buy

When I signed up fr ADT the salesman assured me that everything on the old system was working fine and I could sign up at no cost. From day one after activation - there were daily alarm signals to the calls up until I found this going up and down and calls all the time a nuisance. On 2 inspections by their Technicians it was discovered that my old system was already faulty by the time the salesperson told me it was working well - all he wanted was just for me to sign and he would earn his commission. I was then given a quotation for R7 000 for a new system which I do not have and I do not believe with that amount of money, I am now trapped on getting the same from ADT.

On cancellation I was then told I had to buy out the contract - including my old faulty system - which they found there.

I have been been getting invoices and statements and I will never pay for this as I feel I am being taken for a ride.
