I purchased a car from Zeda Car Sales - part of my finance agreement was a Cartrack unit. Firstly, after driving around in my new car for 3 weeks I discovered, by checking via internet tracking, that the unit was not working. They had to come out and reinstall a new unit. So if my car had been, I would have lost R130K because of faulty equipment. Secondly, even though the car is in my partners name, I drive it. He has phoned the call centre on 5 occasions requesting that they change the response number to my cell phone number. This has not been done. So when they phone, he phones me, I have to phone the call centre and still put up with an attitude from staff because I am not on the system. Finally, I requested from inception that the billing goes off my account. I contacted them, filled in a change of banking details form and emailed it through to them on the 11 July 2013 asking that this please be done immediately, after it was incorrectly debited. This was confirmed. AGAIN this month the debit ran off the wrong account. I emailed asking for a response regarding my concerns on Friday. Read Receipts but nothing! If you can't handle simple paperwork how will you find my car?
