Untrained RUDE Staff at your Call Centre

I feel I shouldn't have to even be doing this, however, here goes.

I am a new ADT client, and already am so terribly unimpressed.
I called your call centre because I was going abroad for a week 2 weeks ago and had a friend house sitting for me, hence I wanted to put his cell number in replace of mine in case the alarm went off, since he would be staying in my house.

Firstly, I was passed between THREE different agents, as none of them could understand what it was I was asking for? And to top it off, when I eventually asked politely to speak to a manager on duty, the final girl let
out a ROARING BURP right into the receiver before she put me on hold...

I was caught between laughing and feeling totally horrified.
Do you interview these people before you hire them? Having untrained and downright rude staff members who clearly feel no value for the job they have, makes your company look like a joke I'm afraid.

Do hope you take care to interview your staff before you allow them near a telephone to have free reign to your clients. Shocking.
