I contacted Elma about a position she advertised. She didn't want to tell me who the client was. She phoned me a week later to tell me that I have an interview with her client the following Tuesday and only then told me her client was KARE. I'm currently working for a very big company and I am not unhappy in my job I would just like to relocate to Gauteng from Mpumalanga. I was a bit hesitant because of the size & nature of the company in comparison to where I am currently working and because I get paid per hour and had to drive all the way from Secunda. But after the trouble - I thought she went through - I accepted the interview. Before the interview I expected her to do a telephonic interview with me or send me a spec or just somehow prepare me for this interview which I actually knew nothing about and she did not at all. I spoke to a few recruiters afterwards and my understanding is that they are not allowed to send your cv to company without you permission and that they are supposed to interview you as they get paid large amounts for placing a candidate. To top everything off my interviewers were 40 minutes late and the Manager treated my terribly. I'm truly dissapointed.
