ADT price increase seems hard to justify

ADT is now charging me R396.81 (2012/12) a month for Alarm and Armed response service in Fish Hoek. This price has increased from R228.00 (2008/12) a month in the last 4 years a 75% price increase. The increases seem to occur at random a couple of times a year. Each of these increases are higher than the official annual inflation rate.

If each increase came with a matching step in value add services I may be more open to accepting the situation however on average service has remained pretty average. I have contacted ADT directly via email but did not receive a response.

I would really like to hear from ADT to understand the rational for this price increase. I would appreciate this response in a public forum (i.e. a response to this post) as I am sure that I am not the only person who would like to understand this.
