Erroneous debit / inability to refund

Towards the end of last month I cancelled my subs, and was told that I would actually receive a credit because of it not being the 1st yet. Cool.

I then notice that they've debited me for the usual amount anyway. At this point I figure, ok, maybe it was a bit too late to cancel the debit order. No worries, I'm sure they can process a refund.

So I phone in just over 2 weeks ago, and get this done. Got told to way 5-10 working days and it should be sorted.

Today is probably the 13th working day, so I phone in to find out what's going on, and get told to relog a refund request. I lost my. These okes are very fast to switch services off when people don't pay (luckily never happened to me) but when you want money back that they took from you when you didn't owe it to them, you get shoved from pillar to post.

Absolutely RUBBISH customer service. At the end of the day, the consumer doesn't matter. You are just another sucker that parts with his R700 odd a month.
