Ster-Kinekor
A little kindess goes a long way!!!

I purchased 2 gift vouchers as a gift for a friend at Ster-Kinekor Cresta. I requested to purchase an empty cardboard popcorn box as I wanted to create a gift pack when presenting the gift in 2 weeks time. The manager refused to sell me an empty box. The only option was to pay full price (in the region of R23.00!!!) for the box. Surely to goodness, this would have been a good public relations opportunity to "make a plan" to help a customer??? The staff were happy to offer me on old, used carton from the dustbins but would not allow me to get one new unused container!!! I was not asking for a freebie - I was happy to pay Ster-Kinekor for the empty container. Such a simple gesture, would have gone a long way in making the "customer king". Instead, I left frustrated and irate. I can't believe that their was no interest in "taking off the blinkers to see the bigger picture"!!!
