Ster Kinekor Fourways out of stock of popcorn size

When my sister and my family went to watch movies at the Ster Kinekor Fourways branch recently we were told that they didn't have any popcorn in the small size, only in kids or regular. We didn't want either of those, so suggested they put a small amount of popcorn into the regular container. They said they couldn't, as the machine/system wouldn't recognise this. The manager was even less helpful and gave us the same story - with an apology. Apologies mean nothing! Find a solution. Why are we given the problem? I am tired of being held responsible and having to pay because you didn't order in time or do what was required. Why does it become my problem? If the manager was unable to get resolution for us - at the very least he should have offered us some free vouchers in lieu of the fact that they were unable to supply what we needed on the night. Unfortunately most companies in SA have no idea of customer service - too often they think they are doing us a favour! Apologies mean nothing - having a happy customer walk away should mean everything, as that is what counts - not an apology. Find a better way forward. This is not acceptable. I would like feedback to this.
