No refund after 7 days

I logged a request with the Johannesburg call center regarding an over payment on my account (credit card payment) and requested a refund of R275 on 4 April 2013. The operator logged the request and mentioned that a journal entry will be done.
This morning I contacted the same call center because the refund still did not reflect, and I was told that the journal has not been approved yet. I was then told that it would take another 7 days for the refund to be reflecting.

This is unacceptable. If my payment is due and not received within 48 hours, Multichoice disconnect my services. It is therefor not unreasonable that a customer could expect a refund within 48 hours, especially not if it is something as simple as a credit card reversal.

Can I please have this matter resolved without having to wait for another 7 days?
