DSTV customer service is very poor!

I did not pay my subscription on time & got disconnected early this month which is acceptable. What is not acceptable is the extremely poor service I have had in my increasingly desperate attempts to get reconnected!

The situation as far as my account is concerned is "Your statement dated 24/3/2013 says that the total due is 59.67. On 4/4/2013 I paid R80.00 using DSTV account reference xxx which meant that at that stage you owed me R20.33. Now (12/4/2013) your website says I owe you R21.94. Please explain this discrepancy - how does this (R20.33 R21.94 = R42.27) difference arise? ", although earlier in the month when I queried my account balance I was told that my account was in credit.

It seems that you can only get reconnected via their call center, which is extremely expensive (VAT Rates?). The first time I tried I gave up after not getting into contact with an consultant for some (EXPENSIVE) time. the second time I talked to a consultant who gave me a rather complicated procedure to follow. I tried this BUT IT DID NOT WORK so I am still disconnected.

What I want to do is GET RECONNECTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and find out what is going on with my account. JRvZ
