I used to go to Sun City about once a month to enjoy the casino and the hotels & entertainment. When I visited the Sun city main hotel in October 2012 I unfortunately left my sunglasses in my hotel room. These sunglasses were very sentimental to me so I called the hotel immediately when realising I had left them. The front-desk manager assured me that the room cleaners had told her they found it and that I could come pick it up. Obviously, I was so relieved that I didn't mind driving 80km to go pick up my glasses. My son went with me, so I parked and sent him in to retrieve the glasses. When he got to the car I saw it was definitely NOT my sunglasses, but some cheap sunglasses you would expect to buy at a traffic junction. I immediately approached the front desk but the manager wasn't available for the next half an hour & an employee told me that I would have to send a mail to complain. I've sent 3 mails & called & received no response. I am very upset by this incident as one of the staff members clearly took my very expensive sunglasses and replaced it with a cheap pair, resulting in me making a 160km roundtrip for nothing. I would like compensation for my loss and for my struggle
