Can someone please answer a phone!!!

My husband and I moved in with my father-in-law while our house is being renovated. All I want to do is suspend our DSTV accpunt for the time being as we are not using it. I have been trying since Friday 31 January to get hold of someone at MULTICHOICE, in order for me to suspend my service. I either hold on for 10 minutes without any response OR I get silence after the introduction message OR I get cut off!!! I am desperate, because I suppose that I will have to pay for the service I haven't been able to cancel for the passed three days!! And while I'm at it, I do not understand why the options take 2minutes and you have to type in every number imaginable and then when you finally speak to someone you still have to repeat all the information you just entered!!!
