UPGRADING SOFTWARE WITH NO NOTICE

Thanks M Net. After a rotten Monday, time to watch Masterchef, E32 signal, phone the call centre. They have upgraded the software without notifying anyone, so our decoders may not work. Got us going, clearing the signal, but this has happened 6 times now. Each time you have to phone, on my mobile account, with the same old info, they re-set, then say we will have to take our decoder to be up-graded. It is now 8.30, the centre closes at 7pm, and you get the same story "I am just a call centre operator''.

I do not blame them, but SHAME on M NET / DSTV, for no advising us beforehand, to get the necessary upgrades. Very dangerous, when we are thinking of giving it up, and downloading as every other sensible subscriber should do - rather than rely on shameful service, shoddy programming, and general disdain for a public it holds by the short & curlies - till now - be afraid, not too much longer, as broadband improves.

it has just gone off again. 70 minutes in total on my account, and no answers from a pitiful call centre.
