On the 25 January 2013 my DSTV was disconnected. I thought that since I didn't pay my December instalment Multichoice had every right to disconnect it. I called them the same day to make the necessary arrangement. The consultant told me I had not been paying since May 2011 and I owed R5000. You can imagine my shock and surely if I had not be making payment since 2011 why would they wait for almost 2yrs before they deactivate my decoder. I emailed my proof of payment on Monday, 28 January and an automatic response said I would be contacted within 3 working days. I called Multchoice again on the 1 February 2013. This time I was they told have received my proof of payment and it did not reflect on their system that I was paying for the months they claimed I had not be paying however I was now underpaying them. Apparently I had another decoder that was activated and I was not paying. I am still looking for this extra decoder that the claim I have? There is not extra amount that I am going to pay, needs to do their administration correctly before their accusation. If they think they can throw their toys around, I have bigger and better toys to throw right back at them.
