Beginning December 2013 I bought a DSTV decoder when I called call centre to activate I was told i have outstanding balance from previous decoder and i need to pay this amount before i can activate my new decoder. I explained that when change of ownership was done on the old decoder there was no balance on my account as I was paying in advance via debit order last time i used the old decoder was in 2008 i gave it away in 2012 change of ownership was done 30/10/2012 but a debit order was sent to my long closed bank account which was returned to multichoice unpaid. Why was this debit order sent to my banking details after change of ownership? as it was no longer in my name when it was activated. I went to Multichoice Paarl to get answers and got to the most unprofessional cashier Adelle Davids who in her highest tone (as if im deaf) told me they are just an agency there's nothing she can do then continued with private conversation with her 2 colleagues whilst i stood there, her unprofessional/rude attitude is beyond words. Did not get any assistance at Multichoice 5 New Street Paarl. My decoder is still inactive.
