Overcharging much?

Monday morning 8 July my friend and I took our 7-year-old daughters to watch Epic at Ster-Kinekor Tygervalley. Part of the treat of watching a movie is always the popcorn to go with it. Great was our dismay when we were told that there was no popcorn available! As it is part and parcel of one's movie experience, it is unacceptable for movie theatres not to have popcorn.
As the refreshment queue was very long (a complaint all on its own!), we had to make a quick second choice (trying not to hold up the queue) and opted for the same options as a combo, but without the popcorn. A Kids Combo with drink, sweets and popcorn costs R40, 95, so we would have spent R82 on that. Our total spent on snacks (2 drinks, Jellitots and Astros - NO POPCORN) came to R66! So because of YOUR inability to provide popcorn, Ster-Kinekor, WE feel cheated, overcharged and very disappointed.
It is the third time in two weeks that we had to wait so long in the refreshment queue - last Thursday it took more than 20 minutes and we were late for the start of our movie.
Movie-going is not turning out to be the pleasure it should be - we hope it will be rectified as soon as possible.
