On Wednesday 04/12/13 my DSTV was displaying an error and I tried to contact the call center on 021 5082222 - what a mission - Calling from my cell phone and after a few attempts of holding, trying to get myself identified and about 30 minutes later I got through to a agent - was told they can not help me as I have extra view and she transferred me - and yes - I got cut off again - had to start all over again - after around 45 minutes on my cell phone I spoke to a person who said my DSTV was disconnected due to non payment - I pay via internet banking monthly and have been a loyal customer for years and years with no default payments or disconnections - now, having my wife undergo major surgery and just making payment on the 4th and not the 1st they cut my service and want me to pay a R50 connection fee. I logged my complaint and all I got back via e-mail was - sorry for the poor service - but you must pay the R50 connection fee - Person responding Mbali Nenene - I spent over 45 min on my cell phone - no previous default payments and I have paid by the 5th in the past with no disconnection - take your R50 and loose my R695 subscription monthly as I don't need DSTV!!!
