Cancelled Subscription and still being debited

I cancelled my subscription in October, and was was told it has been confirmed, i will not be debited in future. Yesterday i recieved a message saying that i have been debited by Top Tv, i called in and cancelled again, requested a letter of cancellation and was told that the supervisor "Titus" would call me back immidiately as i was quiet angry by that time as i had to hold on for a long time to get help.i have not since heard from him. i was told that i need to go to the bank and stop the debit order, i did not see the logic in that, Top TV caused the inconvinience and they should refund me, not inconvinience me even more by asking me to go to the bank... i am furios now... but will wait for my cancellation.
