Being irresponsible with my details/banking detail

After I canceled my DSTV subscription in May 2012, Multichoice has taken a debit from my account today (29/10/2013). According to the call center, my account has been re-activated via the website and my account is active at an address where I have moved out of more than 12 months ago. My email address is not recognized by the website and they cannot confirm which email address has been linked to my account/online profile. Is this acceptable? After the call center agent could not answer any of my questions, he confirmed that I will be called back and that he will inform his supervisor. It is slightly concerning that my personal details can be used by anyone who registers a smart card online and that a big company like Multichoice cannot see what IP-address/email has been used to connect smart card/accounts. Where to from here??
