BE1 error on decode

Recreation & Entertainment

We have a dual view decoder and after a power failure, the decoder flashed a BE1 error. Doing a search on the internet to see if this could be reset, I found 1330 entries for this error. This is listed on the internet as a software download error. The internet fixes did not work. We took the decoder into Randburg, DSTV, and were told the error is a faulty decoder and needs to be replaced. R425 later we left with a "new" decoder. We got home and when we plugged the decoder in, it is dead. We called DSTV and were informed there is nothing they can do about the problem. We will have to wait for the original consultant to call us. I asked to be transferred to the agent and was informed that they cannot transfer calls... 2013 and calls cant be transferred. This is a. Do the maths 1330 x 425 =R 565250.00... A healthy sum... Now we wait for the agent to call us. No we are the customer that pays for the privilege of subscribing to this service, and get treated like fools. People this is a ripoff
