TOPTV does not cancel subscriptions as requested

I phoned TopTV on the 17th of July right after my honeymoon to cancel my TopTV subscription. I now find out my subscription has never been cancelled as they migrated to a new system. After I had a huge argument with the call centre agent as they said they are going to charge me for August as well as I cancelled it after the 15th. I then thought oh well I am going to lose R279 for nothing as I have already removed the dish and decoder. I now see that I have been billed for September and October as well and they are blaming it on their systems migration and I have to wait 24 hours for a response.

This feels to me like TopTV is trying to take every cent of their clients money to get themselves out of the mess they are in. I was one of their best mouth to mouth marketers and I am busy informing all the people that joined because of me to cancel their top tv and rather get DSTV. I hate it when my name is also being dragged through the mud.
