Nobody follows up on complaints at Rosebank Cinema

Y husband and I watched Great Expectations on Sunday 22nd Sep 2013 at 20h30.

While the movie was playing in Cinema 7 a group of people, seated outside the theatre, were talking and laughing just outside the cinema and this continued for the duration of the entire film.

When we emerged from the Cinema the group of 6 to 7 people, none dressed in any uniform but wearing sanitary "showercaps", were still there.

The three groups of patrons went directly to management to complain, and we were met by Rosina Langa, who assured us that the theatre manager, Julia Mafora, would be calling us the next day.

I have STILL not received a call from Julia, despite calling the cellphone number given to me the next day at 9.48am (073 513 2452). The phone was answered by Rosina Langa, who told me that Julia would not be at work until after 1pm.

Is this the sort of service Ster Kinekor prides itself on? And is this the sort of theatre atmosphere you wish to portray to your cinema patrons?

Not only am I upset at my movie being disrupted (why did Management allow such a thing to happen), but I am even more upset that the Manager did not even bother to call me to follow up on the complaint.
