Ster-Kinekor
Nice experience at Somerset Mall

I went to see the 22:00 show of Despicable Me 2 at Somerset Mall. After reading so many negative things about Ster Kinekor on here I thought it only fair to give positive feedback as well.

The movie started on time. The image was bright and properly focused. The sound was clear and at a comfortable volume. The theater was relatively clean. The odd bit of popcorn here and there but nothing major.

The staff was friendly and helpful although they were obviously tired at the end of their shift. The self service ticket terminals worked perfectly and there were 3D specs available when I asked at the snack counter. My partner indicated his slush puppy drink was made perfectly with "not too much syrup". The sweets were fresh and the popcorn tasted fine.

I also liked that the movie only had a few minutes of trailers in front before getting to the main feature. The Dolby Surround 7.1 sounds terrific.

I had fun.
