These guys are either completely incompetent or intentionally play dumb when it gets to trying to cancel a service. We called well before time to cancel an existing service and they assured us that the debit order would be cancelled. The service did cut off at the agreed time but the debit order for the next month went off anyway so it meant us having to stand in long bank queues to manually cancel and reverse the debit order. This led to a string of emails from Multichoice informing us that our debit order was returned unpaid and when we responded, we were informed that we had not supplied sufficient information. I don't know what is that difficult in accepting a cancellation of service notification which requires more information than was requested when we cancelled the service. Me thinks that they are deliberately making it difficult to cancel the service in the hope that most people don't bother reporting it.
