Account paid but connection fee on this months acc

Paid account via eft over the weekend of 15/16 July 2013. Being weekend payments does take a day or 2. Beginning of the week our subscription was suspended due to non payment?!?! Phoned call center and they reconnected it eventually and said it reflected late in their account. Now I get my amount due and they added the connection fee. What the heck? Must I go through all this hassle every time my payday falls over a weekend? What must I do because the call center isnt very helpful and im not paying a connection since they suspended my account 2 days after i paid!
