Valley of the waves closure in June

We had booked at sun city, for the 21st and 22nd of June using central reservations. It was not mentioned to us that te valley of waves was closed. Upon arriving at the resort we found the facility closed. We engaged the hotel manager who was not helpful an advised us to report the incident to their voice of the guest line.

We also encountered a smoke alarm which was cause by an air conditioner. We reported both matters and were advised that the hotel would contact me. To date we have not been contacted.
This shows poor customer service from Sun City.
