Rude lady in Reservations

To: The General Manager, Villa Via Hotel.

I spoke to a lady in reservations (forgot her name) and I enquired about a booking for the weekend of 21-23 June 2013, I was informed that there are rooms available for this weekend.

I then enquired about another date, the weekend of 2-4 August 2013 and mentioned to her that I'll be booking on a voucher that was won through Pick 'n Pay.

She then told me that according to Villa Via the deal expires at the end of June 2013, but according to the voucher it expires 10 Dec 2013.

I then told her that I will take the booking for the abovementioned weekend in June to which she then told me that there are no rooms available when she just told me that there are rooms available.

I asked her about this and she argued with me and told me there are no rooms available, I challenged her and she then put the phone down in my face.

I was absolutely dumbstruck by how arrogant this lady was that she thought she could just cut the call on a potential long term and return guest, I found that to be very rude and unprofessional.

I worked in a 4 star hotel and I fail to understand how she could do this.
