Inappropriate adverts for children

On Friday 21st June, I took my 4 year old son to see the animated movie "Monsters University" at 16.45pm. While sitting down watching the adverts prior to the movie commencing, I was shocked that the movie trailers for World War Z and Superman were shown. I do find the showing of such trailers totally unacceptable for the prelude to the showing of an animated movie where young children will be in attendance. There is extreme violence and content that it totally inappropriate for young children. I informed the manager of the cinema, and he indicated to me that it was not their decision to run such adverts but it was sent my head office. He indicated he would email head office. However, I must admit there did not appear to be any urgency around this issue, or the fact that this material is inappropriate for the showing prior to this movie.
