Ster-Kinekor
R-rated ads at morning shows

Recreation & Entertainment

I took my two children (8 and 5) to watch Wreck-It Ralph this morning (9.15 show) at the Northmead Ster Kinekor. At the popcorn/sweets counter there is a TV screen and on it was the trailer to the R-rated movie Hansel and Gretel. I don't know about other children, but mine, when there is a TV around, tend to watch it, regardless of content. I had to remind them numerous time not to look at the scary and inappropriate scenes being shown. I spoke to the manager. He said he would pass it on to Ticketline - do they manage those screens??? Either way, it makes me nervous to take my kids back to watch another movie anytime soon!
