Not only do we have to put up with almost no new content and endless reruns, but DSTV cannot answer their phones in the call centre! I have tried to contact DSTV on four occasions. Having better things to do, I generally give up around the 10 minute mark. Tonight I managed 15 minutes, but was astonished to read on Hello Peter, while holding, that others have waited in vain for up to 90 minutes. Perhaps we have been too harsh on telkom? Home affairs? DSTV is a private company. They want our business don't they?? Maybe not. My subscription has stopped because I have an outdated smart card. I got a new one but it does not work. I have sent countless SMS s to no avail. Finally tonight, after giving up holding, I registered for self help. The final straw!! The confirmation email never came. Telkom all is forgiven. Maybe telkom could offer satellite?
