Apart from a certain medical aid group, Multicoice must have the most inept call centre in the country.
I have 2 DSTV installation- one extraview and the other a single view (the former for my in-laws at their house and the latter mine). I tried to upgrade mine to an extraview installation and was told after the installation that I cannot have 2 extraview systems on my account! They then forced my wife to create an account with them and then said that she cannot use my bank details to pay for what is my account in the first place. After much effort and anger, they created a "child account" so the debit orders can continue.
Now, if I want to do the same at another property, they tell me I must "find another family member to create another account."
I cannot see why they make it so hard to do business with them. The people at the call centre are very under-trained- they had to check several times with a supervisor on creating the child account and flat refused to check with anyone why I cannot have both extraview subscriptions on my account. I shudder to think that I will have to have a series of wives to accommodate Multichoice.
