DSTV needs competition to improve service delivery

As a client of Multichoice for many years, I feel absolute disgusted by their service.

My account was suspended according to Multichoice, due to the fact that I need to go and change my smart card at a Multichoice store.

The nearest Multichoice store is 20 km from my house. Working all day, makes it difficult to go to a store. There is no choice of alternative delivery of a card that Multichoice wants to change, please note Multichoice NOT ME! I feel this is ridicules! If they want to change my card, post it via Registered Post, courier it to me, DELIVER some sort of a service!

I phone the call center last night. After numerous attempts, I mailed a complain online. Finally at 20h00 I manage to contact Multichoice. The supervisor refused to turn on my decoder, and informed me I have to change my card, regardless of the fact that I pay my account monthly via debit order, and NEVER had any problem with payments. The mail I received back was such bad spelling and grammar.

Multi Choice NEEDS some form of competition to IMPROVE service. My experience with their service is not good

Can one actually complain about service if there is no service at a all?
