First Property Trust so incompetent

My husband owns a flat in Pretoria Beatrix street and we don't stay there, last week we got the shock of our life we tried to buy a car and we were told that FPT handed us over for rental money, we went there and sattled the amount that was outstanding to clear our name, yes i understand the people staying there are at fault but my complain is the fact that no one communicated with us from FPT, as far as i know before a service provider hand you over they need to sent you a letter and if you dont respond, they need to contact you telephonically with us non of this were done. We drew a credit health report on the 8th of November 2012 and FPT was not there and we drew another report on the 12th of February 2012 after we were told that we have been handed over and there it was, but on the health report is says they handed us over on the 30th of April 2012 how strange!

I want FPT to prove to us that they contacted us and we refused to pay and that is they reason they handed us to ITC, if not then they should make a plan as to how they are going to resolve this
