Good day. Landlords and Tenants be aware. I was scammed by Des Lategan in a similar way as other complaints. She requested deposit and 6 months rental upfront and took off with those funds. Legal action need to be taken. Criminal case to be open. She operates everywhere - Southern suburbs, CBD, Grassy park, Milnerton. Collects deposits from tenants for "safe keeping on trust account". She will check your bank statements (as tenant's credit check). If there is some savings, will scam you to give it to her as upfront rental payment. She is not estate agent. Ocean Echo Properties CC is not estate agency. Is anyone in a process of legal action with Des and Leonard Lategan? Please share
