Think twice before Fine and Country

I rented a place from F&C in 2012. the place needed lots of TLC but I was assured it would be done. I was dumb enough to move in. I inherited a black leaking pool, leaking roof, peeling walls, falling security wall and debris in the yard. 6 months into my lease my elec was cut off despite my making payments. I communicated defects to F&C when I moved in. Nothing was done throughout my lease period. I in fact gave notice twice due to defects and was convinced they would repair the house. Nothing happened. In the year I was there I didn't even get the second set of keys. Delivery was promised every week! The last straw was being cut off. I gave notice, waited out a month and moved. F&C refused to release my deposit so I stayed with them. I am now told that since they failed to get a tenant for the previous rental, my deposit was docked and I have been black listed for partial payment! This happens to coincide with my current lease expiring and my leaving the F&C group.

I have detailed email papertrails of all transactions and complaints, notice given etc. F&C has now taken the spitefull stance of dragging my new landlord into their bitterness. F&C just give me my deposit and DROWN!
